Architecture


These works are parts of buildings that we have designed. They are all inspired by folding structures. It is difficult to fold thick and heavy materials into multiple planes that share vertices, subject to gravity, so they are reduced to their simplest form, respecting the principles of origami. これらの作品はそれぞれ、私たちが設計した建物の部分である。いずれも折り畳み構造からインスピレーションを得ている。重力の下で,　頂点を共有する複数の平面になるよう、厚くて重い素材を折り畳むことは難しいため、折り紙の原理を活用しながら、最もシンプルな形にまで還元されている。引用したプロジェクトは
